Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21)
For the youngest of our campers and a parent, we offer an opportunity where child and parent can spend the night together before experiencing Day Camp. Parent and child will play, swim and enjoy campfire worship. The following morning both of you will eat breakfast together and then the child will participate in Day Camp which runs from the hours of 9:00 AM—4:00 PM. Day Camp gives your youngest campers a joyful first taste of camp! This special session is designed to briefly introduce children to the excitement, friendships, and fun that make our camp so special—while sharing the very heart of why we exist: to proclaim the Gospel.
Through engaging activities, creative play, and age-appropriate Bible teaching, campers will explore this year’s theme, “Jesus Is the Way—Walk in the Way!” Anchored in Isaiah 30:21, children will learn how to listen for God’s guidance and choose to walk in His way each day. It’s a meaningful, fun-filled experience where faith comes alive and young hearts begin their journey of following Jesus. Join us for lessons about Jesus, games, crafts, singing, and swimming (shallow end only).
Parents don’t need to stay for the Day Camp portion on Saturday.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6.)
What does camp ministry mean to you?
I attended Woodland Lakes as a camper as an elementary and junior high student. It is a privilege to have served on staff at WLCC since 2005. I love camp ministry because it is a great opportunity for campers and guests to get away from the normal routine of life and listen to God. The outdoors has always been a place where I am able to connect with God the best. I love serving in a way that provides people the opportunity to do the same.
What is your favorite camp memory?
I love gathering at the pool or lake at the end of a week of camp for baptisms and seeing the lives that have been changed!
What is your favorite dessert?
Homemade Ice cream
