This is an opportunity for our youngest campers to attend a camp session from the hours of 9:00 AM—4:00 PM. This camp session will briefly introduce children to our amazing camp experiences all-the-while teaching them the reason for the camp’s existence—proclaiming the Gospel—through unique and fun experiences.

Our theme for the day is "The Great Outdoors!" When we get outside, we can discover so many cool things! Outdoor discovery is a lot like God's Word. When we dive into the Bible, we also discover a lot of cool things! Join us for Bible lessons, games, crafts, singing, and swimming (shallow end only). We can't wait to spend the day with you; get ready for a great adventure!

Where are you involved at church?

I am the Family Minister at Mount Carmel Christian Church.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)

What does camp ministry mean to you?

Camp is a time to take a pause on life, get away from daily distractions and focus on kids in a new setting. They may have never been able to have a whole week to just be loved and be known through the eyes of Jesus.

What is your favorite camp memory?

One year for 3rd/4th grade camp, we met and exceeded our Missions offering goal and several of the male faculty had to make good on their promise to the kids. They went to a local thrift store, all bought prom dresses and jumped in the lake! It was priceless! The kids went crazy! Favorite camp memories are special times of worship around the nightly campfire, crazy songs before mealtime, but my favorite is always seeing kids come to Christ at the end of the week.

What is your favorite dessert?

Who can choose? Peach pie, Custard pie, Hot fudge cake!
